The rise to prominence of Dao was largely down to Quinta dos Roques. At around 450m, Quinta dos Roques lies in the Dao heartland, just outside Abrunhosa do Mato.
Luis and Luisa Lourenco lead this family estate, producing a wide array of meticulously assembled wines, where both traditional blending, and varietal offerings both excel.
Quinta do Correio, is their ‘everyday drinking’ label. Correio means “post” and the vineyard originally belonged to the village postman, hence the nickname for this wine is Postie’s Tipple!
